I have been learning Spanish for several months and am enjoying it so much that I built this website to share my thoughts and experiences. One of my major life dreams is to live in Spain for a year and learn Flamenco guitar. So my goal is to become quite proficient in the language before going to Spain.

When I was 16 years old my mother took me to a trip to several countries, one of which was Spain. We stayed in Madrid for about 5 days. It was an amazing experience for me. I remember going to a bullfight, eating wonderful food and visiting some beautiful museums and palaces. Unfortunately, I was unable to go and see flamenco guitar as I was too young. I remember several Spanish people spoke to me (in Spanish) and I couldn’t understand. I think those short encounters left a mark on my subconscious – I really want to learn to speak Spanish.

As you probably know Spanish is the third most widely-used language in the world – making it a very worthwhile language to learn. I love learning languages. I see language as the heart of culture. If you want to experience a country I believe the best way is to learn a language to a proficient level and then visit the country or countries of that language. In the case with Spanish, there are several countries we can visit – Mexico and Spain. So, whether you want to learn Spanish because it is a common language or because you want to travel, learning this language can be more effective and fun if done via various learning mediums online.
